Join historical musical sensation Diane Taraz to celebrate the spirit of life and memories of friends. She will be performing her Fond Farewell musical program for Memorial Day, consisting of classical and original songs on guitar and dulcimer. The program will include Over the Rainbow, Wayfaring Stranger, Amazing Grace, Will the Circle be Unbroken and many more. Yuyutsu Sharma World-Renowned Himalayan Poet & Julie Williams-Krishnan American Photographer Join us at the museum for an immersive afternoon with internationally celebrated Himalayan poet Yuyutsu Sharma and American photographer Julie Williams-Krishnan as they explore the unique interplay between poetry and photography. Recently returned from the Himalayan Literature Festival, curated by Yuyutsu and where Julie taught photography as a member of the faculty, these two artists will offer insights into how their respective crafts interact and inform each other --transforming moments into

To make the evening even more special, we’ll have a live belly dancer performance between courses, adding an exciting cultural experience to the night! Local photographer Bruce Magnuson will guide us through a fascinating trip down the Hudson Valley. He will touch upon historical, cultural and artistic themes that capture the essence of the area. While weaving in photographs, he will show how, many of the major themes in American History have shown up in this small section of the country. Sponsored by the Cummings Foundation Grant.

Adult learners at WCMS are invited to join us for an evening of discussion, music, and community. This gathering will combine a relaxed, informal performance opportunity with a continued group discussion of the themes offered by William Westney's book, The Perfect Wrong Note.
