Photography Atelier | 2025-2026

We are pleased to announce the opening of registration for our special 40th Anniversary Atelier session and are excited to share more details with you.

The in-person class will be taught by Emily Belz and will take place on Thursday evenings from 4:30-7:30 PM at the Griffin Museum of Photography, located at 67 Shore Road, Winchester, MA 01890. The program will begin on September 18 and run through the end of May.

The online class will be taught by Jennifer McClure and held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-9:00 PM (ET) via Zoom. It will begin on September 16 and run through the end of May

The Griffin Museum, Emily Belz, and Jennifer McClure are pleased to host an online Open House dedicated to the Photography Atelier.

Platinum/Palladium Printing with Jill Enfield (In-Person)

During this in person workshop you will learn how to make one of the most beautiful and expensive processes, platinum and pallaidum prints, which was brought into the public eye by the Pictorialist photographers. Platinum prints can range from a cool gray-black while Palladium prints usually range from warm black to very warm brown. Pre(Occupied) Landscapes aims to challenge conventional representations of the landscape in photography. Rather than treating landscapes as passive backdrops, this workshop explores them as active, layered sites where natural systems, social histories, and political forces intersect.
